Friday Fun

Grandma and Grandpa are leaving tomorrow, so I let the kids stay home from school to spend time with them.
The morning started with Grandma making us crepes for breakfast. Then she helped McKinley make her pillowcase while Grandpa played with the boys.
In the afternoon they took the kids to a movie, "Dolphin Tale". The kids thought the movie was good and Hayden even sat nicely through it. They got candy, popcorn and Icees (or as Hayden calls them: Brainfreeze).
Kent came home early from work so we could all go to the pumpkin patch in Newtown. The crop was sparse this year due to the hurricane damage. We still found some nice pumpkins. The kids mostly liked the mini pumpkins anyway.
After the pumpkin patch we went home for dinner and then made s'mores.

It was a fun Friday. We miss living by the grandparents.
