More Albion
We returned to Albion Basin tonight to try to capture some kids pictures. The 2 year old wouldn't nap today, so he was a hot mess. The others were good though, so once again we got a bunch of pictures with the three older kids and a few of the little when I could sneak them in. That little booger.

Albion Basin
It is the peak of wildflowers in the Albion Basin. Last year we missed the peak and ended up with some so-so fields, and some of my favorite yellow daisy flowers all wilted. They are amazing right now. We are going to go back up later this week during the evening so we can attempt a few kid pictures.
We love these mountains!

Movie night
We set up our outdoor movie theater this weekend. It was a lot of fun, and hopefully not too loud for the neighbors.

Cub Country
Sawyer had his first Cub Country Camp today. He seemed to have a good time and I'm glad he was such a good boy up there, because not everyone in our pack was. And now I am worn out. I've got to regroup before I head back up again tomorrow!

Dragons
Kent had a few days off this past week, so after a few hard days of electrical work in the basement, we took a day off and saw Dragons 2 with everyone. My favorite part though, was the fact that we all got to stay in the movie theater the entire time. A miracle with a 2 year old!
Tennis anyone?
McKinley and Sawyer both wanted to try tennis. Hayden did not.
McKinley and Sawyer's session started today. They said they had a lot of fun and wanted to go straight away to a court to practice.

These are the best pictures I got through the chain link fence. Sorry.

Swimming lessons
We started swimming lessons again for the year at Miss Amee's. I love the outdoor pool, and that it is a non-chlorine pool. The owners are great teachers too.
Sawyer and Hayden are in the same class again, because Sawyer's level was full. He saw his picture as I was loading it and asked "Why am I smiling?" I told him it is because he is having fun. He is ALWAYS smiling during swimming...and soccer...and basketball...and football. I love it!
Hayden is getting to be a good little swimmer and has a mean back float.
McKinley is in the last level class and honing her skills. I'm not sure she will be doing lessons again next year. It is a little bittersweet.

4th of July
We spent the evening at Shelley's house with a few cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. We ate dinner and had some fun fireworks.
Spaz!
But he still wasn't a fan of the loud fireworks.
When we got home, back neighbors were still doing big fireworks, and we noticed the lovely polluted orange moon.
Happy 4th of July!

Last day of school!
Phew! It is finally the last day of school! They were excited to be out for the summer. In true girl form, McKinley was a little emotional about saying goodbye to her teachers. And in true boy form, the boys didn't think twice about it.
We picked them up from school (since Kent is off work) and had a celebratory lunch in Provo at Los Hermanos. Yum! Afterwards we took their report cards to Krispy Kreme for their free 1/2 dozen donuts for good grades.
Let the summer fun begin!
