Payson Temple

Since we are off track, I thought it would be a perfect time for a mid-week visit to the Payson temple open house.  Josh was so excited to go.  Then when we were there one of his arch nemesis brothers bugged him and he instantly turned into angry grump.  McKinley was interested and had some great questions.  Josh asked when we got inside, "Where's Jesus?"  I told him he wasn't here right now.  It was a beautiful temple!  The last open house we went to was the Oquirrh Mountain temple.  It was nice to go again as the kids are a little older.

Spring time sports

Spring sports have started up again.  This season we have McKinley doing soccer and Sawyer doing soccer and flag football.  That keeps our weeks plenty busy.

I can't seem to get the front of her for a picture.  Maybe I'll have to get off my cozy chair :(

Game day was a little chilly today.

Right after soccer we made it in time for the Cardinals game.

STEM Expo

Hayden was very upset when we didn't make it to our STEM activity in our community earlier this month.  Luckily the STEM Expo was held nearly one week later, so I took him to that.  He got to have some hands on experience with fun science projects.  He got to shoot a flaming gun, ride a hover craft, and he WON  a prize in the raffle.  He chose the ticket to the Leonardo museum for his prize.  My little Scientist!

Super Babysitter

I made McKinley take the super sitter class at the hospital before I release her into the babysitting world as she turns 12.  Now she is ready to go!

Cuddles

You know he's sick when he just wants to cuddle ALL day.  And he took a nap!

Happy Easter

Josh has been talking about finding Easter eggs at grandma's house for weeks now.  He insisted on helping to hide the eggs.  Then when he found his eggs he repeatedly hid and found the eggs again and again!  It's fun to be three!

Oh, but Josh wanted no part of the picture taking.  He's inside instead.

Sawyer Bear

Sawyer earned and received his Bear badge in cub scouts this month.  Way to go Sawyer!

Smooshmellows

We made a fire for family night.  This time I tried the "S'mores Marshmallows" that are rectangular shaped to fit on your crackers better.  Our conclusion is that they are too much marshmallow for one s'more.  Hayden was covered!
