I have been on a reading frenzy, so here are my latest reads (sorry Kent I know you hate book posts).
I read The Giver years ago and was completely perplexed by the ending. I was surprised to find out this year that it is actually a quartet! So I read #2 Gathering Blue, and #3 the Messenger and am currently on #4 Son. I love these books, and they are shorter than others on my list so they are quick to finish. I am so glad to finally get closure on that boy on the sled in the first book...I know what happens to him now :)
I also read these YA fiction novels which I LOVE, and sent me into my book depression while I'm waiting for book #3 to come out in January and finally get resolution! There'd better be happy resolution.
Oh ya, I also read Hearts in Hiding by Betsy Brannon Green. She's an LDS author. Her books were very cute, but the characters were LDS so there were home teachers and visiting teachers. Luckily, it didn't ruin the book....I'm not big on LDS fiction obviously, but I really liked this book. It was a cute, entertaining read.

I LOVED the Giver! I have to read those! So glad to know they exist! I've joined a book club, but they ready classics and stuff that can create "discussion" so that means I don't do very well in that book club. But lots of the ladies don't read, so we just eat and hang out a lot. So I will be reading those while they read some thousand page book called the Test of something or other. Keep your pictures coming!
