Today we took our first family outing to see some of this place and the leaves. We had stake conference this morning in New York. People in my ward said it takes about an hour to get to the stake center :( We left about 30 minutes before it started despite our best efforts. Luckily we live in the northern part of the ward and it only took us half an hour to get there. And amazingly our kids lasted almost the whole 2 hours!
After church we changed our clothes and grabbed some snacks and headed out. We traveled a scenic highway to see the leaves and stopped by some cute covered bridges.
Here is a pumpkin tree...
These pumpkin people were so funny to me!
And here's an Amish buggy parked to the side of one of their furniture stores :)

Kent is so famous, he has Falls named after him?!? The pictures are great, not only is it beautiful but soooo much history! Exciting!!! The kiddos look great! I'm glad y'all had fun? How many people are in your ward, how big are the boundaries? Reading this reminded me of Florida, having to drive into different counties for ward or stake conferences :) makes you not take things for granted. miss you xoxo
See, it's not so bad. There are lots of fun things to see and do. If you liked the cemetaries, you should go to Sleepy Hollow of the Headless Horseman fame in Sleepy Hollow, NY. We went last weekend. It was surprisingly a lot of fun. Or you could go apple picking. People here do it for fun while people in Utah do it for work. Glad to see you had a good time.
Looks like fun! I particularly looove the cemetary piciture. Maybe because it's Halloween time??!?! =)
Everything looks so pretty there! I'm with Jennie, I LOVE the cemetary pic.
The pictures look great!! It looks a lot prettier there than here. Maybe because it is someplace different. Keep updating us on pictures and your adventures!!
