Scientist for the day

 Josh had to be Scientist of the Day in his class at school. He had to choose and present a science experiment. He chose Elephant Toothpaste and talked about catalysts. 

 

Salmon run

We caught the Salmon run festivities up at Strawberry Reservoir.

We saw the most in the fish hatchery.

Then we stopped for lunch in Heber and had a yummy shake.

Back to School

 Hayden drove himself to school as he starts his junior year! 

And McKinley is back for another year at UVU.

Apricots

 This year we had lots of apricots. I decided to make some jam. I think next time I need to not double the batch. I think it would have set up better if I hadn’t. 

Birthday boy

Sawyer turned 18! These 3 went out to have some birthday fun! Then we took Sawyer out to dinner at his restaurant of choice. He decided on Texas Roadhouse.

Bear Lake

 The Korth extended family went to Bear Lake to have a family reunion celebration of Grandpa’s 80th birthday. 

We played at the beach, went boating, saw a play at Pickleville Playhouse, and ate lots of shakes.

Apparently I didn’t take many pictures. But here’s Hayden getting up on surfing!

Pioneer Day

 We had a nice pioneer dinner of Dutch oven chicken. We had Korth’s over and Davis join us.

After dinner we played the board game “Crossing the Plains”.

We watched fireworks from our home, and Josh did sparklers that night.
