Spelling Bee

Josh entered the 1st grade Spelling Bee. We studied through the 3rd grade list and then he told me he was not studying past that. He did great all the way through the third grade list. Then as soon as the fourth grade list started he got out. He tied for 3rd place when about 7 of the last 10 standing went out as well. Next year I hope he'll study as far as I recommend.

Alpacas

McKinley is obsessed with alpacas right now. I found a local lady who runs a little farm that you can visit. (Bergstrom Farms in Bluffdale). So we, minus Sawyer who was not interested, visited the alpacas and got to feed them treats! Needless to say, it was a huge hit!

Influenza

This kid has been sick. I finally took him in and he got the official influenza diagnosis. It's too late in the cycle for Tamiflu, so we're back home to rest and recuperate!

Planetarium

We went to the planetarium for a little off track fun! The boys loved it and are already asking to go back.

Aaronic Priesthood

With the new changes in the church with YW and Priesthood ages, Hayden received the Aaronic Priesthood today. Both his grandparents were able to attend.

Chillin'

She's a pretty chill dog. She loves to find the sun in the winter, and hides under the deck for it's coolness in the summer.
