Kent had a business meeting in Philadelphia and I was able to arrange work so I could go with him. It was a fun little get away together. I'd never been to Philadelphia before!
Our Hilton hotel room had a few of the river and we could see New Jersey on the other side!
Kent hates this picture, but we ate dinner at this steakhouse in an old bank and I thought it was a pretty setting.
City Hall was near our restaurant. The spring flowers were so cute and it was a beautiful building.
We took a hop on-hop off bus to see some sites.
Independence Hall
Liberty Bell
The Bourse building
Elfreth's Alley. The oldest residential street in the country.
Masonic temple
One of the city's art installations
Love Park
Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul
The LDS temple!
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Rocky statue
Another view of City Hall
Cute apartment building
Crossing the Delaware
Benjamin Franklins grave. We paid money to get into this cemetery before we knew you can actually see it through the iron fence from the sidewalk. Oh well.
The Mint. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside.
The National Constitution Center. We watched a little one man play that was very touching about the Constitution.
It was a short but nice trip together. We did not get to eat a cheesesteak though.
