5th Grade

1st day for Josh. He's starting 5th grade this year.

These dang high school boys would NOT stop for a school picture. In fact, as you can see, they did their best to make sure I didn't get one at all!

 

Pinewood Derby

Our last Pinewood Derby.

Josh went out with a bang and got 1st place!

 

Dinosaur Park

 Thanksgiving Point had Dinosaurs in the garden. McKinley, Josh and I went on my birthday. One of their favorite parts was feeding the koi fish in the lake.

as a side note...today I found the infamous piggy sweater from my teen years. Apparently, it is cool vintage now. I still wouldn't wear it.

Children's Market

Josh decided he would join the neighborhood Children's Market this year. We decided on selling the chocolate frogs with fondant in the middle. I made the fondant and helped him melt the chocolate, but he did the rest and did a great job. He dressed up as Harry Potter and we had music going and potions made from dry ice.

 

Hair

Hayden swore he didn't need a haircut. I forced him anyway. He could barely see!

 

Lagoon

 

McKinley wanted to make sure to go to Lagoon with Grandpa Korth. He likes the rides. Some of us found that we might be too old for it though. Kent, McKinley and I got motion sickness.
