Lantern fest

Josh and I went to the lantern fest again. This time with Grandma and Grandpa Korth. McKinley ad Davis went too and met up with us. There was an unfortunate cold front that came through, so it was a bit chilly, but the winds weren't too bad so the lanterns could safely launch. Always magical. 

 

Nose surgery

Sawyer had a nose procedure today to get his nasal passages opened. He's been having congestion for months and months with no help from medication. So we're trying this now.

 

Happy Birthday

McKinley spent her birthday going to visit the Butterfly Dome at Thanksgiving Point, and then we all went to dinner at Tepanyaki's. She ordered this very specifically decorated penguin birthday cake.

Braces Day

Hallelujah! Today was the day. After quite a few "last" visits where Hayden's teeth weren't quite ready, we finally made it to the end and he got his braces off!

 

Tulips

We got the Thanksgiving Point family pass this year so we could enjoy the Tulips. It was the tail end of the season, but there were still plenty of blooms!

 

End of the Season

 Josh's soccer team wrapped up their season today. They're a good group of boys and I'm glad he kept at it this year. 

They celebrated at Oscar's with pool party!

Anniversary getaway

 This year is our 23rd anniversary. We planned a little overnight getaway. We started by visiting the Homestead Crater. We floated and soaked in there for about an hour. 

Then we checked into our hotel. We decided to try the Homestead Resort. It is currently under remodeling construction. Unfortunately our room was in the PRE phase still. So it was not overwhelmingly beautiful, but the Midway area was beautiful to see.

Then we ate dinner at Ruth's Chris in Park City. Always yummy! We left the next day but it was nice to get away together for even just a little bit.
