Josh's Copper Mountain team participated in the Parade before the game tonight. We had to be there very early and the kids had to stand around in line for over an hour for their 5 minutes of fame. He liked getting the snacks afterward while we watched the game.

Denver
For Sawyer's 16th birthday trip he chose to go to Denver to watch a Broncos game. It was a whirlwind trip to fit in between his high school football and school starting, but it was fun to do something just for him.
SL airport update
Raising Cane's recently came to Utah near us, but the wait lines are ridiculous. So we tried it with no line at all in Denver. In between the Broncos game and flights we watched more football in the hotel.
Game day!
Broncos first home game with people allowed back since Covid.
We were surprised that there were not mountains near the city.
While we were gone McKinley stayed home with the other boys. Late in the night/early morning a smoke detector went off and they had to get out and chat with the fire department. It was a false alarm, but provided an exciting night for them.

Good bye
We love you Sadie.
After we received her cremation ashes I buried them in one of her favorite outdoor sitting spots. These flowers are supposed to bloom each fall, and will remind us of Sadie and saying goodbye.

Not good
As we suspected, the vet says Sadie has a big tumor. She is being euthanized next week. She doesn't feel good, but she still insists on following me around to whatever room I am.

Happenings
Josh enjoyed doing some ironing. He can have it!
Our water line going into the house broke. What a fiasco that was. And a lot of digging.
Josh had his ortho check-up and had to have 3 teeth pulled to prevent problems. He didn't love that.
