Albion Basin

I love flowers, and luckily McKinley loves getting her pictures taken. We went to Albion Basin together to do both! Who am I going to drag along with me when she's off to college in a year?!

 

Bear lake

We had a Van Leeuwen family gathering in Bear Lake this year. We did the usual lake activities, saw a play at the Pickleville Playhouse, and visited the ice caves in Idaho. 

 

Blood donation

McKinley and I donated blood today. McKinley only ate ice cream for breakfast/lunch though, so she ended up passing out and hitting her head on the floor.

She doesn't want to donate anymore.

 

4th of July

We took Hayden and Josh to see "Big Betsy" flying in Rock Canyon near Pleasant Grove. Then after we ate at Los Hermanos, and then socially distanced near BYU to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks.

 

Fishing

Grandpa and Grandma took us on a fishing trip today (except McKinley who had other plans). We went to Strawberry. We were lucky to get quite a few bites, and even a few fish.

 

Lake Blanche

 Shelley, James and I got up early to hike up Lake Blanche this morning. It's about 7 miles round trip. No moose this time around, but it's still lovely up there!
