Josh's Soccer Season

Josh's team chose the name "Blueberry Pancakes". They had a great season. Josh really loved playing defense. Now they'll take a break until spring.

National Honor Society

McKinley was initiated into the National Honor Society tonight.

Lake Blanche

Shelley and I finally went on our hike to Lake Blanche. Despite just getting over a cold and just beginning a cold, we made it! And yes, it was a challenging 6.9 mile hike.

It had recently had a little snow. we came across a cute snowman someone made.

Gosh Utah is beautiful!

On our way up we happened across one bull moose across our path. On the way down THREE moose were just hanging out on the path blocking our progress.

My muscles were sore for days after that hike!

Glory night

McKinley's soccer club held a big party at the park tonight. Josh was the only other kid who wanted to go with McKinley and I. Josh loved the food and the candy cannon. He would not go get his picture taken with Leo the Lion and the REAL soccer players.

Homecoming

Tonight is Homecoming for McKinley. She went with her pal Dallin. She got to be a in group with a couple of her best girl pals too!

State Fair

Josh got a free ticket to the state fair from school. He talked me in to taking him, since he's never been. He decided on using his spending money on playing a carnival game. He won a stuffed animal frog. We checked out the animals, got him an ice cream treat, and then got to watch the rodeo. It was his first rodeo that he was old enough to remember. He thought it was great! He liked the bull riding the best.
