Sunday Storm

We loves summer storms! Josh enjoyed himself tonight jumping in muddy puddles in his boots and church shirt! He told me not to worry that his new shirt was dirty because I could just wash it.

Scout camp

Sawyer attended 11 year old scout camp this week at Camp Tracy. Kent joined him for the overnight part and snapped a few pictures.

Sawyer needed some pushing to trying things he wasn't sure he was good enough at to even try! He ended up passing off the target part of the rifle shooting merit badge. He also got a good start to archery. I'm glad he was pushed to try new things.

Happy 4th!

We started the day with a round of Top Golf again. Right after that we went to Korth's for a BBQ. After chatting for a while we headed back home to rest up for the night. In the evening we took the kids to their first rodeo (McKinley's 2nd). They were entertained for the full 2 hours! After the rodeo we watched the big fireworks at the park.

Golfing

Thanks to Kent's company corporate card, we got to go try Top Golf with the family. Josh was not excited about going at all. He said it would be dumb and boring. But we all had a great time. They can't wait to go again!

Last day of school!

Today is finally our last day of school. Kind of. McKinley is doing a summer science class and PE class to free up her school schedule next year. She still has school.

But these guys are out of school! Wahoo!

Here are the first day vs. last day side-by-side pictures:

It was Sawyer's last day of Elementary school! I can't believe it!

After school we got a snow cone from Lani's to celebrate.

Birthday table

We got to take lunch to Hayden at school while he sat at the June birthday table. He wanted Arby's roast beef and curly fries. He got a shake to go with it.

Comp Soccer

McKinley decided to try out for competition soccer this year. It is a more challenging level of play, which is what she is looking for.

She made it!

Practices will be Mondays and Thursdays, and games will be a bit more travel (but still in state) than the rec team.

This is her roster soccer picture all ready for the new team and new season.
