Winner winner

There was a contest on studio 5 KSL to submit pictures that remind you of spring. I got McKinley to send in this picture, and she was one of the lucky winners of a $20 Swig card. As a reward she treated me to a yummy sugar cookie. Yum!

Wind in his hair

There's nothing like being a kid. Hayden was just enjoying the warm weather, open windows, and the wind in his face.

Tulips!

Tulips are my favorite, so the tulip festival is my favorite too. Josh and I piggy backed off Grandma and Grandpa's pass (and their golf cart) to take a gander at the beautiful blooms.

Josh loved the cart ride only, and hated getting his pictures taken.

I wish tulips lasted longer!

Just keep swimming

I'm not sure how, but they talked me into taking them swimming. I wasn't supposed to have to go in, but I ended up wading in a bit to watch the little one in the kiddie area. They had a blast together though!

Welcome Spring!

We are loving the spring weather! 

We had to check on Grandma and Grandpa's plants, so we stayed and enjoyed the free swings.

This cool kid loves to ride his bike. We went on a little bike ride together before we had to head out and start picking up kids from school. He can get around pretty fast on the balance bike, but has no interest in starting a pedal bike.

Awkward stage

Since the weather was warm today we took the chickens out on the back lawn to stretch their wings a little. They are no longer the soft little fuzzy chicks they were 3 short weeks ago. They have transitioned into an awkward fuzz/feather poking stage. They were good little chickens though, and stayed right by us in their little group and pecked around or ate out of our hands. A few more weeks and they can move into their coop.

Volleyball

Today was Hayden's last volleyball game of the season. He has had a lot of fun and is improving. He's got a nice little serve too!
