Aquarium preview

We got a membership for Christmas from Kent's parents.  The official opening is Monday.  They have a members preview today and tomorrow.
It is going to be a fun aquarium!  They are still working on it right now, and many/most of the creatures aren't in their displays yet.  But in a few months I think it will be up and really running.

It was quite crowded!  We even ran in to my brother and his family for a few seconds.

Kite weather

Josh made a kite at his little library class.  It was nice and windy outside so it was great fun for him to watch.  He couldn't take his eyes off of it!  He had to take it with us during our errands today.

100 days smarter

Wednesday Hayden's class celebrated their 100th day in school.
They wore these treasured hats all day (and into the night for Hayden).
The hats reads "100 days smarter"!

Off to school

I ended up helping in McKinley's class this week because the other mom couldn't make it.  I didn't have babysitting for Josh so I brought him with me.  We packed his backpack with books, a stuffed animal, and a lunch bag with snacks.
Amazingly he did great.  He sat at his chair (for the most part) and colored, cut, and snacked away.  Phew! What a relief.
He looked pretty darn cute in his backpack too.

Class time

We started up with the library classes again since the horrible winter illness season is past.
I think Josh thought it was nursery time again because he did NOT want to go at first.  Once he knew I was staying he settled in just fine.

Dads & Donuts

It was Dads and Donuts this morning before school.  Hayden was especially excited to give his invitation to Kent.  Luckily he could go with the kids before work.
I love that bunch!

President's Day of the Living Dead

Hayden brought his President's day art project home the other day.
I asked him to tell me about them, since something looked...different.
He told me President Washington and President Lincoln are zombies.
Life with boys.
